Title: Data Analyst (Global Audience Measurement)

Working Hours: 10AM - 6.30PM, Monday - Friday (MK Time)

Location: Flexible (Fully Remote OR Hybrid)


About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and insight-driven Data Analyst to join our research team, focusing on analysis of our proprietary, global streaming audience data across 20 international markets. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between raw data and actionable intelligence, primarily supporting our clients and internal stakeholders (Sales and Marketing) by supporting users on getting the most out of our data, and turning complex global viewing data into clear, compelling narratives.

This a varied role with significant opportunity for growth, and further opportunity to work with the biggest companies in the global streaming and media industries.


Key Responsibilities

Client & Platform Support

● Support Monitoring: Monitor the client support system, providing timely and accurate responses to external client queries regarding our data and insights.

● Platform Expertise: Support clients with specific analytical queries and technical issues related to the construction and maintenance of dashboards and reports on our analytics platform (powered by Looker).

● Insight Delivery: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide high-quality insights that directly inform strategic decision-making and optimal usage of the data.

● Reporting: Produce regular reports for clients, delivering data updates and insights.

Sales & Marketing Enablement

● Compelling Analysis: Create engaging and visually impactful analyses and data stories that "bring the data to life" for non-technical audiences.

● Use Case Identification: Support the Sales and Marketing teams by developing compelling data visualizations that identify new use cases and demonstrate the value proposition of our research to prospective clients.

● Ad-Hoc Reporting: Provide rapid, accurate analysis to support reactive media opportunities and internal strategy sessions.

Professional Development Opportunities

● Client Training: Opportunities to undertake and eventually lead client training sessions on how to effectively use our proprietary tools.

● Presentations: Presenting bespoke research projects and analysis directly to clients and external partners.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Essential

● Education: A University degree (or equivalent qualification) is highly desirable.

● Data Foundation: Demonstrated experience in data analysis and visualization, ideally gained during degree studies or previous professional experience.

● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business language.

Highly Desirable (Bonus Experience)

● Platform Expertise: Direct experience working with Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar sophisticated Business Intelligence (BI) visualization tools.

● Research Background: Previous experience working in a formal research capacity.

● Industry Knowledge: Experience working within media research, specifically audience measurement or streaming/digital content analysis.
